The patterns we repeat

We are born and as we evolve the grooves of our being start to form.

Through repetition our patterns root and become the foundational shape our lives take.

Our thoughts, beliefs, habits and behaviors intertwine to weave the most glorious tapestry or sometimes they concretize a mold to which we and our lives are rigidly affixed and we feel stuck.

Repeat use injuries happen when we do the same motion literally too much for our own good. The overuse of the same thinking, believing and behaving can create the exact same level of negative disruption to your health and well being.

Patterns themselves are a beautiful thing. Those that keep us trapped in a habit, spiral or even a life that doesn’t serve us and perhaps even causes more harm than good are the ones worth investigating and changing.

Unfortunately most of us don’t feel that we have the skills, know how or capacity to change these deep grooves. It’s part education: learning new skills of self awareness, pattern recognition, communication etc and part action: implementing, trying new things, new activities, considering new ideas, forming new habits…

I help people identify their reoccurring patterns, determine what they want to keep and change and then create that change so it lasts.
