Too often we wait

Too often we wait.

:: For it to be easier
:: To feel ready
:: Until we know exactly how
:: For the leap to be less scary
:: To act until we have all the answers
:: Watching others go after their dreams
:: Until we feel certain
:: To share our voice

There’s a fine line between waiting for the right moment to take action and endlessly putting off how you really want to feel, who you want to be and what you want to do or have.

Whether you’ve been procrastinating for 5 hours, 5 months or 5 years it’s never too late to begin the life you actually want or at the very least improve the one you’ve compromised yourself into.

I know. I stayed in a relationship for 12 years I didn’t want to be in hoping it would be better for my kids-it wasn’t.

I chose to keep living in a state I never wanted to live in for 17 years because that’s what felt right as a co-parent post divorce. But even in that compromise and choice I see how I had far more choices available for me to sacrifice less of what I wanted and have more of what I did.

Yes hindsight is always 20/20 but it’s also a reminder that creative solutions to (almost) every problem abound if we are willing to look differently, get curious, stay open and try new things and ways of being on.

We can let life shape us into who we get to become-one step at a time. I support brave folks let go of what’s been holding them back, reclaim a sense of wonder and live more awake, alive and connected. Yep and make more money than ever too.
