Somewhere in the middle of the road on the way to Arizona to see my son Rook.

My phone just doesn’t do this breathtaking scenery justice-especially while driving-but I came minimal this trip with no big camera rig to lug around.

Heading out alone on an adventure to parts unknown in vehicles unknown on paths unknown may be daunting to some. To me it’s exciting, inspiring and life affirming with a human amount of concern, worry, doubt and fear.
