The heartbeat of home

My son’s current home is a testament to our family’s values. Nestled in nature, welcoming to all, aesthetically pleasing, open, beautiful vantage points, filled with wonderful humans and delicious food with a feeling of serenity and tranquility that a deeply connected life requires.

Last night I went to my first college party in 30 years. It was so civilized! Rook’s friends were smart and kind and fun. They were kind enough to allow me to hang out and even engage in some fantastic conversation. It was awesome!

Also…How Arizona can feel like the Italian countryside is beyond me but it’s lovely to experience. Getting to know my son’s life and loves from this perspective is such a gift. He inspires me and illuminates me and I love being a part of his days for a bit.
